Encounter
Usually these birds can be found in swamp grass, rice fields, around mangrove forests, and in general on watery lands. Still the same habitat with white eyebrows, red ticks, rice mandar yellow necklaces, paddy rice sintar and stone mandars.
This bird was easily found in every paddy field, but now the amount has been greatly reduced due to fishing and hunting. Most of the rice fields are already difficult to find, especially in rice fields using chemical pesticides which make the mud and soil contaminated so that the food available for this bird is gone or little. Like the example in the photo above, the observer documented it in an unfinished housing area, it seems that this bird lives in a grove of reeds near a small ditch away from its natural habitat and trying to adapt to survive.
